CTCI Arabia Ltd
CTCI Arabia is a subsidiary of CTCI Corp., the largest integrated EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) firm in Taiwan, with around 7000 employees worldwide.
CTCI Arabia established in 2002. CTCI successfully completed the Saudi Kayan EO/EG project in 2010 and the Saudi Kayan Amines plant in 2011. CTCI gained excellent recognition by SABIC Group due to outstanding HSE records among all contractors in Saudi Kayan Complex. Following the aforesaid achievements, CTCI successfully secured Ibn Rushd PTA, ARO, and U&O projects in Yanbu in 2011. In the year 2012, CTCI successfully completed the Saudi Kayan/SAAC/SADARA N-Butanol Port Facilities project within the challenging project schedule and outstanding HSE performance.
CAL kept promoting our integrated service to SABIC and ARAMCO Groups continuously, and CTCI is actively participating in the bidding on several downstream Megaprojects in KSA. At present, the KSA hydrocarbon market is well-balanced. Looking ahead for 2013, the market is expected to remain well-supplied to meet the expected growth of global demand; apart from oil, Aramco will also focus on meeting its own gas requirements, CTCI will aggressively stepping into upstream oil & gas business sectors in the near future.
For power and water, KSA is committed to improving the efficiency of existing power plants and targeting to add 4,000MW of new capacity annually. In order to have better living standards, KSA Gov. announced to allocate a 15-bn USD budget to improve undeveloped water and wastewater utilities. CTCI will bring its long experience and cooperate with local partners to enter the KSA power market.
In addition, K.A.CARE, the leading organization designated to conduct the sustainable energy program in KSA, had published a white paper to develop the renewable energy business, including solar, wind, geothermal, and waste to energy (WTE), with 54GW of power generation capacity by 2032. CTCI Group has registered in K.A.CARE and will keep following K.A.CARE's development for solar and WTE opportunities in the coming years.
